Many years ago, a very beautiful mare was born on our farm named RD Versaria – a stretchy bay filly sired by Aria Impresario and out of La Bella Versace FR by Versace out of SA Shareyd. So very accomplished, RD Versaria has had a phenomenal show career capturing some of the most coveted titles within our Arabian horse industry – her production record paints a glorious canvas in that of RD KALAYA.

To that end, the unique contribution of her dam, SA Shareyd, carries forth a flawless mother line with not one but two lines to one of the famed all-time-leading dam of champions *Sanacht (one of the breed’s finest mare lines and imported from the Marbach State Stud to America through the Loeber’s Plum Grove Farm in 1962) — through SA Shareyd’s dam Amurath Shamio. Amurath Shamio, sired by Amurath Manilla, is a son of the absolutely stunning multi-National Champion Amurath Bandeira who literally turned the 1974 U.S. National Championship show upside down with her beauty and elegance resulting in a National Championship title as a Futurity Filly and repeating her success being crowned U.S. Reserve National Champion Mare.

If one line to *Sanacht wasn’t enough of a treasure, a second line comes through Amurath Shamio’s dam – Amurath Bali – who is out of Amurath Kashmira, a dam who herself produced a dynasty all her own. To think, some fifty plus years of layered predictability and vision has paved way to producing what we now have in RD KALAYA, a gorgeous daughter sired by Bey Ambition who we are so very fortunate to have bred.
