Frozen Semen - BREEDING AGREEMENT

This breeding agreement is made this day March 26, 2025, by and between Rae-Dawn Arabians (hereafter known as “RD Arabians”) and

BREEDING RIGHT: Client hereby contracts for a breeding right for said mare to:

BEY AMBITION CAHR*46341 represented by Rae-Dawn Arabians in the United States. Unless agreed to by both parties in writing this breeding right is not transferable to another person, must be used for the mare specified, and must be used in the year contracted for. If the mare does not settle and must be rebred via frozen semen in the following year, an administration fee of $200 shall apply and be paid before rebreeding. The return breeding privilege can only be exercised for the two (2) breeding seasons following the initial breeding season. The Breeding fee is $2,500.00 USD payable upon signing of this contract and prior to shipment of semen.

One frozen semen breeding right will consist of 2 doses (each dose containing 8 straws) of frozen semen per breeding right. Additional dose(s) may be requested by the Customer at a charge of $1,000.00 USD per dose

If breeding was not purchased directly from Rae-Dawn Arabians, a one-time handling fee of $500 will be charged to the client when a semen request is made. This includes all breeding’s donated to Auctions, resales by clients, etc. No breeding will be honored unless written on a Rae-Dawn Arabians Breeding Contract.

Whereas, client has purchased a breeding for the Mare and desires to have live- cooled semen shipped to satisfy the breeding right. The parties hereby agree that RD Arabians or RS Equine will ship semen for BEY AMBITION to client for the Mare on the following terms and conditions:
1. A frozen semen processing and preparation fee of $300.00 will be charged with each frozen semen shipment prepared, processed, administration and transport to Fedex office.
2. RD Arabians will use certified cryogenic dry shipping container, a deposit of $500 may be charged prior to shipment and held until the shipping unit is returned.
3. Cryogenic Dry shipping unit must be returned no later than 3 days after client’s receipt. Client shall pay a $25 per day late fee if the Dry shipper is not received in that time and subsequent shipments will not be made until the container is returned.
4. Mare owner is responsible for all shipping charges. Overnight shipments will be sent by Federal Express and billed accordingly. Same day shipments in Canada are flown counter to counter and are subject to airline fees and courier fees. Stallion owner is not responsible for lost shipments.
5. Client shall provide a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to shipment of semen and orders must be placed by 9:00am local time determined by the location of the stallion on the day of shipment.
6. Every effort will be made to provide semen on the Mare’s schedule when it can be done without jeopardizing the health of the stallion, the effectiveness of the semen or any previous commitments including stallion’s show schedule.
7. Priority in semen transport will be given to those who book earliest and who give 24 hours advance notice.

LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE: RD Arabians guarantees a return breeding right the following season for Mare or approved substitute should a live foal (defined as one who stands and nurses without assistance) not result from this breeding. Death of the foal must be certified in writing by a veterinarian and received by Rae-Dawn Arabians within ten (10) days of foaling date. Void if stallion dies or becomes unable to breed.

THREE CYCLE MINIMUM: RD Arabians agrees to diligently attempt to settle Mare; however, if Mare fails to settle for any reason client will hold Rae-Dawn Arabians blameless.
Client agrees to give RD Arabians ample opportunity (defined as three breeding cycles under the supervision of an equine reproductive veterinarian) to settle mare.

PAYMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE: Client agrees to pay any and all invoices for lab fees, shipping charges and all other fees, charges and expenses pursuant to the contract upon All monies paid to RD Arabians for breeding services are non-refundable and must be paid in full in order to obtain transported semen certificate.
